Hi there! I wore this outfit last weekend for a date night, and the only chance we had to snap a quick photo of me wearing it was when we got back to my parents’ house afterwards, so apologies for the quality! We went to see Katherine Ryan, the comedian and had a really fun time.

This striped top is so comfortable and I love how I can dress it up or down. It has slightly batwing sleeves and is made from a stretchy fabric, and it’s a definite staple in my wardrobe now – I’ve got a feeling I’ll be wearing it a lot this Spring, mostly with jeans and flats. I paired the top with my ripped jeans for a relaxed look, but then added my pretty statement necklace and leopard print pointy heels for a more put-together and chic look. I used my Luis Vuitton Eva bag with the cross-body strap, which matched the brown tones in my shoes really well.

Did you notice in the photos I’m wearing shoe straps over my leopard print heels? These were from Amazon and they are amazing! My shoes slipped off at the heels because I have such narrow feet and I tried heel grips which didn’t work, then I almost sold the shoes! But I did a little Google search for straps for loose shoes and these came up and they work a treat. I think they look okay and not too strange, right? Some people even said they look like part of the design of the shoes. If you have the same problem you should try these straps out!

Have a fantastic weekend everyone and thank you for reading! XO

Love the outfit – the necklace is really nice. The straps just look like part of the shoe – you really can’t tell! #twinklytuesday

You out your outfits together so well. I love this date night outfit. The stripy top is gorgeous. I’m loving batwing sleeves at the mo. I saw those show straps from your Inatagram post and they look great. I would never need them, my feet are wide! X
