Hi there! This sweet outfit was what Lizzy wore mid-week for a visit to my parents’ house and a little shopping. A little over dressed but sometimes there’s no harm in that! This would make a perfect party outfit, in fact I’ll probably dress Lizzy in this skirt for her cousin Theo’s birthday party in May.
Hand made by Katrina of Mini & Me, the skirt is made from a gorgeous soft crushed velvet and has a satin trim and a glittery black bow at the waist. I think the contrasting gold bow in Lizzy’s hair looks great with the skirt. I love pairing pink with grey so chose the pale pink cardigan which was a Christmas gift to match, and tucked it in to show off the skirt.
I hope you’re having a relaxing Mother’s Day weekend and that you Mamas out there are being spoilt rotten!
Until next time! XO

Hi there! I wore this outfit last weekend for a date night, and the only chance we had to snap a quick photo of me wearing it was when we got back to my parents’ house afterwards, so apologies for the quality! We went to see Katherine Ryan, the comedian and had a really fun time.
This striped top is so comfortable and I love how I can dress it up or down. It has slightly batwing sleeves and is made from a stretchy fabric, and it’s a definite staple in my wardrobe now – I’ve got a feeling I’ll be wearing it a lot this Spring, mostly with jeans and flats. I paired the top with my ripped jeans for a relaxed look, but then added my pretty statement necklace and leopard print pointy heels for a more put-together and chic look. I used my Luis Vuitton Eva bag with the cross-body strap, which matched the brown tones in my shoes really well.
Did you notice in the photos I’m wearing shoe straps over my leopard print heels? These were from Amazon and they are amazing! My shoes slipped off at the heels because I have such narrow feet and I tried heel grips which didn’t work, then I almost sold the shoes! But I did a little Google search for straps for loose shoes and these came up and they work a treat. I think they look okay and not too strange, right? Some people even said they look like part of the design of the shoes. If you have the same problem you should try these straps out!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone and thank you for reading! XO

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all had a great week and have fun things planned for the weekend.
I absolutely love this outfit which Lizzy wore on Valentine’s Day. It kind of reminds me of Mini Mouse for some reason! The adorable heart print skirt and the gorgeous glitter bow hair clip were handmade by the wonderful Katrina of Mini & Me. She has the cutest matching skirts and bows or headwraps, plus cool leggings, rompers and the sweetest baby shoes I’ve ever seen! Go check out her Instagram page, I’m now considering that bunny ears headband… I digress! The skirt has an elasticated waist band, a lovely matching trim, a beautiful heart print and is a vibrant shade of red that is going to get lots of wear, not just for Valentine’s Day. I would say it’s a tad short so you might consider sizing up. The red bow clip is covered in glitter so probably more suited to special occasions, but I love the size of it. It’s also available as a headband.
These navy polka dot Next shoes I bought a while back, and hopefully they will last this Spring and Summer too, I just love them. They are super comfortable and easy to slip on and off, and Lizzy can put them on by herself. The white broderie anglaise top is lightweight and as it has holes in the design I layered a long sleeved top underneath for this cold weather.
I tried so hard to get Lizzy to pose for some photos of her standing and smiling without any props, but she just wasn’t having any of it! Eventually she sat on her bed and started playing with her ‘BaaBaa’ and these were the best I could get (mummy blogger problems!)
I thought I’d add this photo of Lizzy holding the Valentine’s Day picture she made for her daddy which I shared on my Instagram – please follow me there if you’re not already 🙂
