Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a fantastic start to the year, we spent lots of time with family and this is what I wore on New Years Eve at a family gathering at my sister’s house. This wine-coloured swing dress is so easy to wear and comfortable and the longer knee-length (I’m 5ft 4) means it’s appropriate for so many occasions, I might even wear it to work. Looking back at the pictures on the website I probably should have gotten the XS instead of small but I don’t mind how it fits on me as I do like things to be a bit oversized. It took a few weeks to arrive but I got a few items from there and the prices are really great and everything I got was on sale with free delivery. With the simple dress I wore my pretty statement necklace which my sister bought for me for Christmas and my old boots from Oasis.
We’re off to Centre Parcs (Sherwood Forest) for the week tomorrow I am so excited! I’ve wanted to go for years and my husband finally gave in as it’s for my birthday (he’s not so keen on the idea of Centre Parcs but has promised not to moan AT ALL the whole trip!) My twin sister is visiting for a day while we’re there and the guys are looking after the kids – it is both our birthdays after all! – so we can have a girly pamper day, this is the part I’m looking forward to the most! We’ll also be having lots of walks in the forest and swimming in the ‘subtropical pool’ 🙂 Have you been to Centre Parcs before? I’m interested to see if you enjoyed it, I know it’s probably not for everybody.
Thanks for reading and have a lovely week!
