Last week I was excited to be asked to review a pair of Mocks shoes. Have you heard of them yet? I hadn’t, so I headed over to their website and was happy to see that they look cool yet comfortable. There are so many colours to choose from and I opted for the Mocklite Classic ii in Coral, which comes with both red and light blue laces. I prefer the blue laces as I like the contrast against the pinky coral shoe.
This is what Mocks say about their shoes (from their website):
‘Womens Moccasins from Mocks are a stylish and practical new take on womens moccasins shoes.
Womens Mocks are the ideal casual footwear for a range of locations, from the bar to the beach. Mocks take the classic design elements of ladies moccasins shoes and add a modern twist with the materials and the colours that are used. Our womens Mocks are made from an innovative new material which we simply like to call Mocklite.
Our moccasins for women come in a range of colours so you can match your soul to your soles. Where ever they take you, you’ll look great and feel great in our take on womens moccasins shoes – that’s the Mocks effect.’
With this in mind, I put together two outfits which I think will look great for everyday wear, for travelling or to wear to the beach!
Slogan t-shirt: New Look | Boyfriend jeans: Topshop | Shoes: Mocks (c/o)
Floral dress: Yesstyle (similar) | Shoes: Mocks (c/o)
I think the Mocks look great with a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and I also like the way it dresses down my floral dress, which coincidentally matches the shoes perfectly!
These Mocks might remind you of the dreaded Crocs (which I wouldn’t touch with a barge pole) but I actually really like the look of these and they’re fun and comfortable to wear.
They are lemon scented (yes, really!) which is a nice touch, and are designed to be breathable. They are also machine washable which is a bonus and they are well made – I’m sure they’ll last for ages. The only thing is that I find the sides to come up a bit high and dig in a bit into my ankles, but I have narrow feet so this may not be a problem for others.
Prices for a pair start from £40, so it won’t break the bank. They also do kids Mocks (starting from size 10) so you can match with your minis!
Thank you for reading! What do you think of the Mocks? Which colour would you choose and how would you style them?
