Hi there! This is an everyday, quite casual outfit that I wore the other day. I’m loving hot pink this Spring, and this v-neck top is another one of my eBay bargains, at around £4 new, from a Chinese seller. I like the elbow length of the sleeves and the gold button detail. I wore it with my cute bunny flats which I purchased a few years ago from ASOS and my trusty skinny jeans. These cat flats are really cute! The look was completed by adding my black DKNY bag, dainty butterfly necklace and classic Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses. I also wore my Michael Kors watch.
I hope you liked this look and thanks for visiting! XO
Hi lovelies! I finally managed to get some photos with Lizzy to do another Mother & Daughter outfits post, all you mothers will know just how difficult this ‘simple task’ can be! Our outfits are all about pretty florals, and we wore these to our local playgroup the other day.
I love this loose-fitting cotton floral shirt as it’s super comfortable, easy to wear and such a pretty print. I paired it with simple indigo skinny jeans which I’ve had for ages and my cute embellished pink shoes, which are my favourite flats at the moment.
Here’s a closer look at the gorgeous detail on my shoes, and the lipstick I wore – Revlon Lipbutter in Strawberry Shortcake. I ate those macaroons as soon as I took this photo!
My little sweetheart wore a pretty floral tunic and leggings with her cute purple bow-detail shoes.
What I Wore:
Shirt: Yesstyle – love this one, it has a similar fit and several colour options | Jeans: ASOS – similar | Shoes: New Look – these similar ones are beautiful!| Watch: Michael Kors
What Lizzy Wore:
Tunic and Leggings set: Ted Baker (Christmas present from her Nana) – how gorgeous is thisdress? | Shoes: Clarks – here in pink | Socks: John Lewis | Hair clip: Ebay
Hi everyone! Is anyone else so ready for Spring? We spent last weekend in Leicester which is where I’m from, at my parents’ house and my sister took these pictures in the garden as the kids played. There were lots of shots I couldn’t use because there was at least one child running around in the background!
I was in Primark last week and was immediately drawn to this mint green top (only £9) – I had to have it! I love the colour, the loose fit and how it compliments the pastel pinks in my outfit. It has three quarter length sleeves and a zip at the back, and it’s a bit sheer so I had to wear a vest underneath. There was a pink one available too. My pink boyfriend blazer (similar) and ripped jeans (here) are from Boohoo.com and I got them last year. My pink embellished shoes are from New Look which I bought in the sale before Christmas for just £6! (love these similar ones)
My Michael Kors watch was a present from last Christmas and even though I really like it, the face is probably way too big for my wrist! My pearl earrings were a gift from a couple of years ago. The jade pendant was from my parents which I received when I was about 10 so it’s really important to me, and I bought a long twisted chain to go with it, I like the longer length. The jade bracelet was an 18th birthday present (kind of, since I paid for half of it!) and I must have only ever taken it off twice. Jade is worn by many chinese people and is meant to bring good luck and protection, I’m not superstitious but it’s nice to think it works! My mum always tells the true story of when she was pregnant with my sister and fell down the stairs – they were both ok but her jade bracelet broke!
As you can probably gather I don’t tend to wear ‘fashion’ jewellery and prefer classic or sentimental pieces, many that were gifts that mean a lot to me. Also I love gold, not so much silver. I can see myself passing down some of my jewellery in the future to Lizzy.
I wasn’t going to include Lizzy in this post but on this day Lizzy turned 18 months and I wanted to have a record and remember the day. I can’t believe how big she’s getting, and so clever (I’m sure every parent thinks this though!) She brings so much joy to our lives.
