Hi lovelies! I finally managed to get some photos with Lizzy to do another Mother & Daughter outfits post, all you mothers will know just how difficult this ‘simple task’ can be! Our outfits are all about pretty florals, and we wore these to our local playgroup the other day.
I love this loose-fitting cotton floral shirt as it’s super comfortable, easy to wear and such a pretty print. I paired it with simple indigo skinny jeans which I’ve had for ages and my cute embellished pink shoes, which are my favourite flats at the moment.
Here’s a closer look at the gorgeous detail on my shoes, and the lipstick I wore – Revlon Lipbutter in Strawberry Shortcake. I ate those macaroons as soon as I took this photo!
My little sweetheart wore a pretty floral tunic and leggings with her cute purple bow-detail shoes.
What I Wore:
Shirt: Yesstyle – love this one, it has a similar fit and several colour options | Jeans: ASOS – similar | Shoes: New Look – these similar ones are beautiful!| Watch: Michael Kors
What Lizzy Wore:
Tunic and Leggings set: Ted Baker (Christmas present from her Nana) – how gorgeous is thisdress? | Shoes: Clarks – here in pink | Socks: John Lewis | Hair clip: Ebay
Happy Valentine’s Day for Saturday everyone! Since Joseph will be working all day (and night) on the actual day, we went on an early Valentine’s meal yesterday with Lizzy. I adore this dress from ASOS, it’s such a flattering, easy to wear pretty dress, and I can’t wait to also wear it in the summer. I love the longer sleeves, the pretty red floral print and the slightly longer back. I really like pairing purple with red and wore my purple shoes. My dress also has a little purple on it. It was quite a challenge taking these photos – Lizzy kept wanting to playing peek-a-boo with the sheer part of her dress!
What I Wore:
Dress: ASOS (on sale for £27!)| Shoes: George at Asda (old – similar) | Clutch: Lulu Guinness (mine is sold out but this oneis also really cute)
What Lizzy Wore:
Dress: Christmas gift from her Godmother (thanks Aunty Olivia!) This one is adorable. | Cardigan: Mothercare (old – similar) | Shoes:Clarks in the Boxing Day sale, they have lime and gold versions here| Tights: Ebay | Hair clips:Claire’s
My makeup was a pinky-mauve look and my lipstick is Boots 17 Dusky Rose (seems to be discontinued)which is a really lovely slightly metallic shade. My pearl necklace was a Christmas gift from a few years ago and it’s from HSamuel. Now let’s talk about this Lulu Guinnessclutch! Isn’t it just so cute? I love it so much! I’ve wanted a red bag for so long and this was on sale and I had to have it. I must have bagged one of the last few as they were sold out the day after I ordered it, sorry! But they do have a gorgeous similar clutch with a lipstick clasp.
Just a couple of pictures of Lizzy playing with my shoes and a balloon to end this post – thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s weekend!
Hi everyone, Joseph and I took Lizzy to a playcentre in Maidstone (Kikiland) on Sunday. Afterwards we took these photos, and this was the only way I could keep Lizzy from squirming out of my arms or running off – maybe attempting to take pictures after an exciting playtime wasn’t such a good idea! Apologies for the background, as a new blogger I’m still quite self conscious and we found a quiet section of the shopping centre and I thought, this will have to do!
We wore matching polka dots, one of my favourite prints. As my dress is very lightweight I added a long navy cardigan for warmth. The polka dots on Lizzy’s top are actually navy but they look black in the photos.
What I wore:
Polka dot shirt dress: AX Paris (this one is so cute) | Navy Cardigan: ASOS (only large left)|Leggings: H&M | Boots: River Island (similar)
