Pink & Black

Hello! Can you believe it’s just a week until Christmas?! It’s Lizzy’s third Christmas already, and it’s my birthday in January, time is going way too fast for my liking!

This is just a quick and easy, thrown on OOTD, which I wore the other day to visit my sister and nephews. The bright pink jumper is from Yesstyle (I only ordered it a few weeks ago but it’s no longer available) and is one-size but I love how it fits oversized on me. The diamond-shaped knit is quite unique and it’s just so comfy to wear! I paired it with some old black ‘treggings’ from H&M and my old River Island lace-up boots. My black DKNY chain handbag finished off the look nicely.

My purple nail polish is Avon Decadence and I added cute gold star nail studs on my ring fingers and thumbs, which are from eBay.

Thanks for reading lovelies! XO

Ciate Wait Until Dark

I love this shade of deep purple with a subtle shimmer. It’s just perfect for Autumn/Winter. I got it free with a magazine a few years ago and since I only used it a couple of times its still good to use. It seems to be discontinued but I found a couple of similar shades here and here.

Thanks for stopping by today lovely readers! XO

Rimmel Salon Pro Disco Fever | Barry M Nail Paint Rose Quartz Glitter | Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

This was my first ever attempt at glitter gradient nails and I’m really pleased at how they turned out. They were easy to do and because there are lots of thin layers of polish they haven’t chipped yet and I’m on day 4 so far. If you haven’t tried this look before I recommend you do, it’s super simple and looks cute and sparkly, they just take a bit more time because of the extra layers!

Firstly I applied two coats of the Rimmel polish which is a gorgeous vibrant purple shade. I then applied a layer of the Barry M glitter polish carefully from around the middle of the nails using light strokes, then concentrating on the tips. When dry I applied another coat, focusing on the outer third of my nails. Finally I applied the Revlon top coat.

I’m loving how fun glitter nails are right now, and I think I’ll try the glitter over pastel pink next time. What do you think? Are you a fan of glitter nail Polish?

Thanks so much for visiting! XO
