Top: ROMWE | Jeans: Topshop (old) | Bag (Eva): Louis Vuitton | Shoes: New Look (similar) | Necklace: Christmas gift
Hi there! I wore this outfit last weekend for a date night, and the only chance we had to snap a quick photo of me wearing it was when we got back to my parents’ house afterwards, so apologies for the quality! We went to see Katherine Ryan, the comedian and had a really fun time.
This striped top is so comfortable and I love how I can dress it up or down. It has slightly batwing sleeves and is made from a stretchy fabric, and it’s a definite staple in my wardrobe now – I’ve got a feeling I’ll be wearing it a lot this Spring, mostly with jeans and flats. I paired the top with my ripped jeans for a relaxed look, but then added my pretty statement necklace and leopard print pointy heels for a more put-together and chic look. I used my Luis Vuitton Eva bag with the cross-body strap, which matched the brown tones in my shoes really well.
Did you notice in the photos I’m wearing shoe straps over my leopard print heels? These were from Amazon and they are amazing! My shoes slipped off at the heels because I have such narrow feet and I tried heel grips which didn’t work, then I almost sold the shoes! But I did a little Google search for straps for loose shoes and these came up and they work a treat. I think they look okay and not too strange, right? Some people even said they look like part of the design of the shoes. If you have the same problem you should try these straps out!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone and thank you for reading! XO
Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a lovely week! On Tuesday Joseph and I took Lizzy to Howlette’s Wildlife Park in Kent which we have an annual pass to, it was our second visit and at 19 months old Lizzy was much more able to enjoy it this time.
The weather was beautiful and it was the warmest day of the year so far, reaching the low 20’s and I wanted to wear something comfortable yet still stylish that would keep me cool. Naturally I went with a plain t-shirt, boyfriend jeans and flats!
For Lizzy I dressed her in a cute t-shirt and matching skirt, the top has little flamingos on it but I didn’t get a close-up. The peach flower on her top matches the colour of the skirt. The purple shoes are a bit random but they were the only shoes she has that looked ok and fit at the moment! Note to self – need to shop for new shoes!
I love this grey t-shirt because it’s so casual and comfy but can still look chic, which I have done by adding my gorgeous vintage pearls. I’m loving my boyfriend jeans, rolled up and they look great with heels or flats, like these gold ones with bow detail. My classic gold-rimmed aviators matched my outfit nicely. Below is a detailed photo of some of my accessories, which I posted on my Instagram. By the way, can you spot the elephants in the background in the photo above?
Hi everyone! Is anyone else so ready for Spring? We spent last weekend in Leicester which is where I’m from, at my parents’ house and my sister took these pictures in the garden as the kids played. There were lots of shots I couldn’t use because there was at least one child running around in the background!
I was in Primark last week and was immediately drawn to this mint green top (only £9) – I had to have it! I love the colour, the loose fit and how it compliments the pastel pinks in my outfit. It has three quarter length sleeves and a zip at the back, and it’s a bit sheer so I had to wear a vest underneath. There was a pink one available too. My pink boyfriend blazer (similar) and ripped jeans (here) are from Boohoo.com and I got them last year. My pink embellished shoes are from New Look which I bought in the sale before Christmas for just £6! (love these similar ones)
My Michael Kors watch was a present from last Christmas and even though I really like it, the face is probably way too big for my wrist! My pearl earrings were a gift from a couple of years ago. The jade pendant was from my parents which I received when I was about 10 so it’s really important to me, and I bought a long twisted chain to go with it, I like the longer length. The jade bracelet was an 18th birthday present (kind of, since I paid for half of it!) and I must have only ever taken it off twice. Jade is worn by many chinese people and is meant to bring good luck and protection, I’m not superstitious but it’s nice to think it works! My mum always tells the true story of when she was pregnant with my sister and fell down the stairs – they were both ok but her jade bracelet broke!
As you can probably gather I don’t tend to wear ‘fashion’ jewellery and prefer classic or sentimental pieces, many that were gifts that mean a lot to me. Also I love gold, not so much silver. I can see myself passing down some of my jewellery in the future to Lizzy.
I wasn’t going to include Lizzy in this post but on this day Lizzy turned 18 months and I wanted to have a record and remember the day. I can’t believe how big she’s getting, and so clever (I’m sure every parent thinks this though!) She brings so much joy to our lives.
