Hi everyone, I’m so happy that Spring is finally on its way, we had some gorgeous sunshine today and daffodils are blooming everywhere!  We’re going to Twycross zoo on Sunday so I’m crossing my fingers for more sun.

With the weather warming up slightly, I’ve been thinking about my Spring wardrobe and getting excited about putting away the thick jumpers and boots in favour of pretty blouses, cute flats and t-shirts.

I recently received this lovely white kaftan from Tresspass which has a delicate floral print with orange-red accents. It has an adjustable drawcord in the same orange-red tone which you can pull according to how fitted you want the waist to be. The loose shape is flattering for all body types and it’s a nice length (I’m 5ft 4). The website shows only one size option so I think it is one-size-fits-all but the label says M so I’m not sure how that works, but nevertheless I think it fits fine – you know I love the oversized look anyway!

When I choose items of clothing, I always consider the various ways I can wear them, and with what. That’s why I love this top – it’s marketed as a beach cover-up, which I definitely will be using it as when I go on holiday later in the year, but I think it also looks great as a tunic! It is made from polyester though so I’m not sure how cool it will keep me in the heat, although the loose airy fit will help.

Worn as a tunic, this kaftan is perfect for an easy breezy but stylish everyday look – just pair with skinny jeans or even leggings and some plain sandals or flats in a neutral colour and you’re good to go anywhere!

Tresspass is mostly known for it’s outdoor clothing and equipment, but they also stock some fantastic swimwear and other clothes, even cute dresses, casual tops and blouses like this one. Their prices are very reasonable too and they seem to often have a sale on.

I hope you enjoyed this post, what do you think of the kaftan being worn as a tunic? Thanks for reading lovelies! XO

OOTD: Leopard Lace-up Flats

Shoes: Boohoo | Jumper: Dorothy Perkins (similar) | Jeans: River Island (old)

This was a relaxed outfit I wore the other day, but to be honest I changed the shoes to boots on my way out as it’s still not quite warm enough to go without socks – hurry up Spring!

I am totally in love with these leopard print lace-up flats from Boohoo, they are so stylish and comfortable too! They are such a bargain, only £12 in the sale and there is still stock so what are you waiting for?! My lace heart grey jumper was a sale item from a few months ago, it’s actually a few sizes too big, (I did know this at the time I bought it!) and personally I like the way it looks oversized. My old jeans are so old and I wear them ALL the time, they are my favourites. I rolled them up so the laces can be seen.

I love this outfit as it’s casual yet chic, I can’t wait to wear the shoes out properly once the weather warms up a bit! Thanks for reading lovelies XO

OOTD: Blanket Wrap

Blanket Wrap: New Look (similar)| Jumper: Primark | Jeans: River Island | Boots: Dune | Bag: Storksak Elizabeth

Hi guys, so I thought it was about time I wrote an outfit of the day post, and I decided to wear one of my most recent purchases the other day: this black and white checked blanket wrap (which looks grey from a distance) from New Look. I only bought it a few weeks ago but I can’t find it online so I linked a similar striped one above which I also love. This blanket wrap is great for these Autumn days that aren’t quite cold enough for a winter coat but you need more than a cardigan. It’s perfect for short walks and other times when you’re outside for a short time and it’s just so easy to throw on over a shirt, poloneck or jumper.

Blanket wraps aren’t to everyone’s taste but I think they look so stylish. You can wear them just loose as a kind of cape like I did, or throw one side over a shoulder, or with a belt, which I might try next. You can wear a shoulder bag with a blanket wrap, as shown in my second photo (I wasn’t sure I’d be able to before I tried mine on!) if you’re interested you can read my ‘What’s in my Storksak bag’ post here.

My outfit was super casual but I can imagine wearing my blanket wrap for a date night with heeled boots and a black poloneck jumper – we’re planning on going to see Spectre soon, I can’t wait!

I’d love to read your thoughts on my look, what do you think of blanket wraps? Thanks for stopping by! XO
